Stronger '08
perhaps the most ambitious project yet by the SSEC Youth Group, it was a large-scale praise-night, but with only enough planning to constitute an weekend outing with the youth group...

considering the ridiculously short preparations, it turned out to be quite a success, with an unexpectedly large turnout from the community. Apparently the praise team has quite a social network...

this is first "flier" that came to be, courtesy of my weirdly creative sister.


This is the second flier that I came up with... with a silly pop-culture reference.

I haven't posted in... oh goodness. 4 months?

So begins the post.


Over the summer I took VIS60: Intro to Digital Photography. I took some pictures, mostly not memorable, but we had fun with some lights and a hookah.






it also involved a big person and a stewie doll.





then I went to a retreat in Running Springs, but didn't really take any pictures of the actual retreat itself...












but I did take a group photo... :D

This weekend...

I borrowed a Zoom Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6G AF-S VR because I thought I was going to shoot some grad portraits for a friend of mine (after dropping my camera/lens, I'm weary that my trusty 18-70mm might give me issues, hence the borrowed lens). But I didn't...

So instead, here are some random shots.
